Saying some sweet words, Zooey Deschanel’s new boyfriend, Jonathan Scott, is her “2020 MVP,” as she said in the new year message.
Property Brothers star Jonathan Scott and his girlfriend Zooey Deschanel shared a message of hope and love to start 2021, alongside new pictures of the two taken by Deschanel’s father, Oscar-nominated cinematographer Caleb Deschanel.
Jonathan Scott and Zooey Deschanel started dating in fall 2019 after meeting while filming a special Carpool Karaoke episode with their famous siblings. Zooey and her second husband, Jacob Pachenik, split just before she started dating Scott and finalized their divorce in June 2020.
“I am dedicating this year to love, happiness, and the pursuit of helping others. I feel like I have got a good jump start on the love part,” Jonathan captioned the picture and asked his fans what their recommendations are.

Jonathan Scott and Zooey Deschanel fall in love at first sight. The 42-year-old, television personality, revealed that his and the actress’s relationship started during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The two celebrated their first anniversary in August. “One year ago today I met this kind, caring, hilarious, generous, creative, nerdy, handsome, and all-around incredible human,” the actress wrote.
Scott added in his Instagram post that no one would have known that exactly one year ago, his life would change forever. “When I count my blessings, I count you twice.”
He added that “After we met each other, we almost talked every day. At first, when we started dating each other, it was everything. Always I had been searching for a person and it was the same for her.”

The property brothers’ star, Jonathan had ups and downs in his romance story. He got married to an airline-crew scheduler in 2007 after a quick courtship in Las Vegas.
This couple went their separate ways after two years. Then he had a relationship with his girlfriend, Jacinta Kuznetsov, for two years. He even spoke about settling down.
This relationship ended in April 2018. After this separating, the famous contractor left heartbroken and single for a long time. The news of his ex-engagement eight months after their break up could not help this matter.
Jonathan said: “We were shooting Carpool Karaoke, and there was chemistry right away when I met my girlfriend, Zooey Deschanel.”
