Evacuation in Blue River entered level 3, issued just before midnight for all Blue River and McKenzie Bridge residents. Level 3 of evacuation means “GO NOW.”

A new fire started by downed power lines caused the evacuation orders along OR HWY 126:

EVACUATION NOTICES IN EFFECT ALONG with THE UPPER MCKENZIE DUE TO FIRE (9/7 @ 10:00 pm) A LEVEL 3 (GO NOW)

Evacuations include residents of the Holiday Farm RV Park (54432 McKenzie Hwy, Blue River).

The Upper McKenzie Fire Chief issued the Level 3 evacuation, includes residents from Leaburg east to the McKenzie Ranger Station, and all routes to the north and south of the highway.

All residents should leave as soon as possible, as Lane County officials maintained. Those in Blue River must relocate to the west to Sisters. The evacuation includes residents of the Holiday Farm RV Park and Dearborn Island Road.
