Kokomo plane crash led to the death of three people after an accident near the Glendale Airport in Kokomo.
Four passengers were involved in the plane at the time of the incident. One person survived the crash. The airplane was found on fire in a field.
Authorities were called to the scene near 3460 S. 400 W. on reports of a plane crash around 11:30 a.m.
Howard County authorities were responded to the area of 3460 S. County Road 400 W. Kokomo after the plane went down near the Glendale Airport southwest of Kokomo.
A witness said the crash occurred during an aviation festival at the airport. Another witness who was volunteering at a flying show at the airport said that the plane was coming down to the land and hit a monopoly flagpole before the crash.
Three people killed in a Kokomo plane crash
Investigators have not determined the number or sharpness of any other injuries of the Kokomo plane crash while there was another plane crash, yesterday.
Two people died of their injuries during a fatal Zeeland plane crash. The plane crashed Saturday morning at the Ottawa Executive Airport, near Zeeland.
According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, assistants responded to the area around 6:40 a.m. near the Ottawa Executive Airport. The small engine aircraft crashed northeast of the runway shortly after takeoff that led to the fatal Zeeland plane crash.
