Such good news on these bad days! Colin Jost & Scarlett Johansson’s wedding plan which remains in limbo amid COVID-19 pandemic is under the rethinking process now.
Colin Jost opened up about wedding plans and Saturday Night Live’s eventual return to TV. The Weekend Update anchor called into SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live on Monday and explained about how he and fiancée Scarlett Johansson have had to reevaluate their wedding plans amid the US Coronavirus outbreak.
38-year-old Colin replied: “Of course. We don’t even know what’s legally allowed. This is not the time to get all your elderly, at-risk relatives together all in one big group … who knows!”
Jost, who has been promoting his new book, A Very Punchable Face: A Memoir, said he and Johansson have “of course” had to figure out what the future looks like for attaching the knot due to all the uncertainty in the world — and in regard to the actual day-to-day capabilities of the court system.
Colin Jost & Scarlett Johansson’s wedding plan will be organized again
The comedian recently announced he was worried about losing his identity when he began on a relationship with Scarlett in 2017 because he didn’t want to only be known as the boyfriend of the famous and beautiful 35-year-old actress.
Asked if he was worried about just being known as Scarlett’s boyfriend, Colin said: “Yes. That was definitely a worry.
“I worried about my identity with it and also with comedy … So, I was always worried about anything that felt non-comedy.”
