He had the chance to stand against true legends such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Franco Columbu, Sergio Oliva, Frank Zane, and Lou Ferrigno. Throughout many successful years in his career, he had won multiple contests.
Well-known as the brown bomber, Mr. Leon was perceived in the WBBG Hall of Fame. Being recognized for his dedication to the sport of bodybuilding by the Staten Island Hall of Fame, he was awarded a plaque in 2007.
Noted, the legendary bodybuilding was born and raised in New York, tried his best to become one of the most iconic bodybuilders in the region.
It is said that he appeared to the public with an optimistic personality, bringing joy into any room he entered. Brian Moss expressed after the significant loss: “Damn, I just read that we lost another legend yesterday, Leon Brown.”

According to Mr. Moss, he and his girlfriend, Danielle, were welcome everywhere: “It’s not everyone that gets a personal video message from Arnold. The full video is on YT. Leon, you will be missed by all that knew and loved you.”
He once beautifully quoted: “It all begins and ends in your mind. What you give power to has power over you, if you allow it.” May he rest easy in power.
